Simple and Effective Skills that Everybody Should know and Anyone Can Learn!

Fightwize Self-Defence was developed from Ju Jitsu with the more traditional components removed yet maintaining the modern, effective techniques of the Art.
We now have more emphasis on modern Karate and Boxing techniques, combining this with the very effective locks, holds, strikes and throws of Ju-Jitsu, makes for a very effective Self-Defence System.
Many people just want to attend a class for a couple of hours and that's as far as they ever want to take it. That is absolutely great and I fully encourage you to do that. However, for this people who want to take it more serious and train on a regular basis, there is an opportunity to do that too.
More emphasis will also be put on Personal Fitness so whatever your current level, whether you are a total novice to fitness, or looking to regain some shape or even if you are looking to maintain your current higher levels of fitness, we will be able to assist in creating a program suitable for you.
Attending classes for two sessions per week will cover a great deal of technical content but if you're interested improving your Health and Fitness levels, a simple program will have to be followed outside of this. Don't worry it's much easier than it sounds.
There's just a minimal charge to cover Personal Insurance and Administration making our system available to everyone. Some basic training items may be necessary too, these can be purchased through the club. Personal Training and Health/ Fitness guidelines are also available.
We are a Member of the Tadashii Do Ju Jitsu organisation not only provides Insurance coverage for members, they also run several courses and seminars throughout the year which will be open to all or our students.
